We still have a week and a half to go before Lent, but just by way of a warm up, I thought I'd post a full-text version of the Seven Penitential Psalms in case anyone wants to print it out in advance.
You may well already have the psalms together with the antiphon generally used with them in your Monastic Diurnal or Missal, but, prompted by a readers comment, this may be a more convenient format for some.
I've provided it in the Latin Vulgate and the Douay Rheims (because it is a reasonably literal rendering of the Latin, officially approved for liturgical use, and out of copyright!), but you can obviously substitute in any suitable translation that you prefer.
Note that a Gloria Patri (Glory be to the Father...) is said after each psalm.
And now back to Psalm 136, so we can finish this series on the psalms of Wednesday before the start of Lent!

THE
SEVEN PENITENTIAL PSALMS
Antiphon
Remember, not O
Lord our or our parents' offences: neither take vengeance of our sins.
1. Psalm 6: Domine ne in furore tuo arguas me
Dómine, ne in
furóre tuo árguas me, * neque in ira tua corrípias me.
O Lord, rebuke
me not in your indignation, nor chastise me in your wrath.
2 Miserére
mei, Dómine, quóniam infírmus sum : *
Have mercy on
me, O Lord, for I am weak: heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled.
And my soul is
troubled exceedingly: but you, O Lord, how long?
4 Convértere,
Dómine, et éripe ánimam meam : * salvum me fac propter misericórdiam tuam.
Turn to me, O
Lord, and deliver my soul: O save me for your mercy's sake.
tibi?
For there is no
one in death that is mindful of you: and who shall confess to you in hell?
6 Laborávi
in gémitu meo, lavábo per síngulas noctes lectum meum : * lácrimis meis
stratum meum rigábo.
I have laboured
in my groanings, every night I will wash my bed: I will water my couch with
my tears
7 Turbátus
est a furóre óculus meus : * inveterávi inter omnes inimícos meos.
My eye is
troubled through indignation: I have grown old amongst all my enemies.
8
Discédite a me, omnes, qui operámini iniquitátem : * quóniam
exaudívit Dóminus vocem fletus mei.
Depart from me,
all you workers of iniquity: for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.
9
Exaudívit Dóminus deprecatiónem meam, * Dóminus oratiónem meam
suscépit.
The Lord has
heard my supplication: the Lord has received my prayer.
10
Erubéscant, et conturbéntur veheménter omnes inimíci mei : *
convertántur et erubéscant valde velóciter.
Let all my
enemies be ashamed, and be very much troubled: let them be turned back, and
be ashamed very speedily.
2. Psalm 31: Beati quorum
Blessed are they
whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
est in spíritu ejus dolus.
2 Blessed
is the man to whom the Lord has not imputed sin, and in whose spirit there is
no guile.
3 Quóniam tácui, inveteravérunt ossa mea, * dum clamárem
tota die.
3 Because I
was silent my bones grew old; whilst I cried out all the day long
4 Quóniam die ac nocte graváta est super me manus tua: *
convérsus sum in ærúmna mea, dum confígitur spina.
4 For day
and night your hand was heavy upon me: I am turned in my anguish, whilst the
thorn is fastened.
5 Delíctum meum cógnitum tibi feci: * et injustítiam
meam non abscóndi.
5 I have
acknowledged my sin to you, and my injustice I have not concealed.
6 Dixi: Confitébor advérsum me injustítiam meam Dómino: * et
tu remisísti impietátem peccáti mei.
I said I will
confess against my self my injustice to the Lord: and you have forgiven the
wickedness of my sin.
6 For this
shall every one that is holy pray to you in a seasonable time.
And yet in a
flood of many waters, they shall not come near unto him.
9 Tu es refúgium meum a tribulatióne, quæ circúmdedit
me: * exsultátio mea, érue me a circumdántibus me.
7 You are
my refuge from the trouble which has encompassed me: my joy, deliver me from
them that surround me.
10 Intelléctum tibi dabo, et ínstruam te in via hac, qua
gradiéris: * firmábo super te óculos meos.
8 I will
give you understanding, and I will instruct you in this way, in which you
shall go: I will fix my eyes upon you.
9 Do not
become like the horse and the mule, who have no understanding.
With bit and
bridle bind fast their jaws, who come not near unto you.
13 Multa flagélla peccatóris, * sperántem autem in Dómino
misericórdia circúmdabit.
10 Many are
the scourges of the sinner, but mercy shall encompass him that hopes in the
Lord
14 Lætámini in Dómino et exsultáte, justi, * et
gloriámini, omnes recti corde.
11 Be glad
in the Lord, and rejoice, you just, and glory, all you right of heart.
Psalm
37: Domine ne in furore tuo
1 Dómine, ne in furóre tuo árguas me, *
neque in ira tua corrípias me.
1 Rebuke me not, O Lord, in your indignation; nor chastise me in
your wrath.
2 Quóniam
sagíttæ tuæ infíxæ sunt mihi: * et confirmásti super me manum tuam.
2 For your arrows are fastened in me: and your hand has been strong
upon me.
3 Non
est sánitas in carne mea a fácie iræ tuæ: * non est pax óssibus meis a fácie
peccatórum meórum.
3 There is no health in my flesh, because of your wrath: there is no
peace for my bones, because of my sins.
sunt super me.
4 For my iniquities have gone over my head: and as a heavy
burden have become heavy upon me.
5 Putruérunt et corrúptæ sunt cicatríces meæ, * a fácie insipiéntiæ
meæ.
5 My sores are putrefied and corrupted, because of my
foolishness.
6 Miser factus sum, et
curvátus sum usque in finem: * tota die contristátus ingrediébar.
6 I have become miserable, and am bowed down even to the end: I
walked sorrowful all the day long.
7 For my loins are filled with illusions; and there is no
health in my flesh.
8 Afflíctus sum, et humiliátus
sum nimis: * rugiébam a gémitu cordis mei.
8 I am afflicted and humbled exceedingly: I roared with the groaning
of my heart.
9 Lord, all my desire is before you, and my groaning is not
hidden from you.
10 My heart is troubled, my strength has left me, and the light
of my eyes itself is not with me.
11 Amíci mei, et próximi mei *
advérsum me appropinquavérunt, et stetérunt.
11 My friends and my neighbours have drawn near, and stood
against me.
12 And they that were near me stood afar
off: And they that sought my soul used violence.
13 And they that sought evils to me spoke
vain things, and studied deceits all the day long.
14 But I, as a deaf man, heard not: and as a dumb man not
opening his mouth.
15 And I became as a man that hears not: and that has no
reproofs in his mouth.
16 Quóniam in te, Dómine,
sperávi: * tu exáudies me, Dómine, Deus meus.
16 For in you, O Lord, have I hoped: you will hear me, O Lord
my God.
17 Quia dixi: Nequándo
supergáudeant mihi inimíci mei: * et dum commovéntur pedes mei, super me
magna locúti sunt.
17 For I said: Lest at any time my enemies rejoice over me: and
whilst my feet are moved, they speak great things against me.
18 Quóniam ego in flagélla
parátus sum: * et dolor meus in conspéctu meo semper.
18 For I am ready for scourges: and my sorrow is continually
before me.
19 Quóniam iniquitátem meam
annuntiábo: * et cogitábo pro peccáto meo.
19 For I will declare my iniquity: and I will think for my sin.
20 Inimíci autem mei vivunt,
et confirmáti sunt super me: * et multiplicáti sunt qui odérunt me iníque.
20 But my enemies live, and are stronger than I: and they that hate
me wrongfully are multiplied.
21 Qui retríbuunt mala pro
bonis, detrahébant mihi: * quóniam sequébar bonitátem.
21 They that render evil for good, have detracted me, because I
followed goodness.
22 Ne derelínquas me, Dómine,
Deus meus: * ne discésseris a me.
22 Forsake me not, O Lord my God: do not depart from me.
23 Inténde in adjutórium meum,
* Dómine, Deus, salútis meæ.
23 Attend unto my help, O Lord, the God of my salvation.
4. Psalm
50: Miserére mei Deus
1 Miserére mei Deus, *
secúndum magnam misericórdiam tuam.
Have mercy on me, O God, according to
your great mercy.
2 Et
secúndum multitúdinem miseratiónum tuárum, * dele iniquitátem meam.
And according to the multitude of your
tender mercies blot out my iniquity.
3 Amplius
lava me ab iniquitáte mea: * et a peccáto meo munda me.
Wash me yet more from my iniquity, and
cleanse me from my sin.
4 Quóniam
iniquitátem meam ego cognósco: * et peccátum meum contra me est semper.
For I know my iniquity, and my sin is
always before me.
5 Tibi
To you only have I sinned, and have done evil
before you: that you may be justified in your words, and may overcome when
you are judged.
6 Ecce
enim in iniquitátibus concéptus sum: * et in peccátis concépit me mater mea.
For behold I was conceived in iniquities;
and in sins did my mother conceive me.
7 Ecce enim veritátem dilexísti: * incérta et occúlta
sapiéntiæ tuæ manifestásti mihi.
For behold you have loved truth: the
uncertain and hidden things of your wisdom you have made manifest to me.
8
Aspérges me hyssópo, et mundábor: * lavábis me, et super nivem dealbábor.
You shall sprinkle me with hyssop, and I
shall be cleansed: you shall wash me, and I shall be made whiter than snow.
9 Audítui
meo dabis gáudium et lætítiam: * et exsultábunt ossa humiliáta.
To my hearing you shall give joy and
gladness: and the bones that have been humbled shall rejoice.
10 Avérte
fáciem tuam a peccátis meis: * et omnes iniquitátes meas dele.
Turn away your face from my sins, and
blot out all my iniquities.
11 Cor
mundum crea in me, Deus: * et spíritum rectum ínnova in viscéribus meis.
Create a clean heart in me, O God: and
renew a right spirit within my bowels.
12 Ne
projícias me a fácie tua: * et spíritum sanctum tuum ne áuferas a me.
Cast me not away from your face; and take
not your holy spirit from me.
13 Redde mihi lætítiam salutáris tui: * et spíritu
principáli confírma me.
Restore unto me the joy of your salvation,
and strengthen me with a perfect spirit.
I will teach the unjust your ways: and
the wicked shall be converted to you.
15 Líbera
me de sanguínibus, Deus, Deus salútis meæ: * et exsultábit lingua mea
justítiam tuam.
Deliver me from blood, O God, you God of
my salvation: and my tongue shall extol your justice.
16 Dómine,
lábia mea apéries: * et os meum annuntiábit laudem tuam.
O Lord, you will open my lips: and my
mouth shall declare your praise.
For if you had desired sacrifice, I would
indeed have given it: with burnt offerings you will not be delighted.
18 Sacrifícium Deo spíritus contribulátus: * cor
contrítum, et humiliátum, Deus non despícies.
A sacrifice to God is an afflicted
spirit: a contrite and humbled heart, O God, you will not despise.
19 Benígne
fac, Dómine, in bona voluntáte tua Sion: * ut ædificéntur muri Jerúsalem.
Deal favourably, O Lord, in your good
will with Sion; that the walls of Jerusalem may be built up.
20 Tunc
acceptábis sacrifícium justítiæ, oblatiónes, et holocáusta: * tunc impónent
super altáre tuum vítulos.
Then shall you accept the sacrifice of justice,
oblations and whole burnt offerings: then shall they lay calves upon your altar.
5. Psalm 101: Domine
exaudi orationem meam
1 Dómine, exáudi oratiónem meam: * et
clamor meus ad te véniat.
Hear,
O Lord, my prayer: and let my cry come to you.
2 Non avértas fáciem tuam a
me: * in quacúmque die tríbulor, inclína ad me aurem tuam.
Turn not away your face from me: in the
day when I am in trouble, incline your ear to me.
3 In quacúmque die invocávero te: *
velóciter exáudi me.
In
what day soever I shall call upon you, hear me speedily.
4 Quia defecérunt sicut fumus
dies mei: * et ossa mea sicut crémium aruérunt.
4 For my days are vanished
like smoke, and my bones are grown dry like fuel for the fire.
5 Percússus sum ut fœnum, et
áruit cor meum: * quia oblítus sum comédere panem meum.
5 I am smitten as grass, and my heart is withered: because I
forgot to eat my bread.
6 A voce gémitus mei: *
adhæsit os meum carni meæ.
6 Through the voice of my
groaning, my bone has cleaved to my flesh.
7 Símilis factus sum pellicáno
solitúdinis: * factus sum sicut nyctícorax in domicílio.
7 I have become like to a
pelican of the wilderness: I am
like a night raven in the house.
8 Vigilávi, * et factus sum
sicut passer solitárius in tecto.
8 I have watched, and have
become as a sparrow all alone on the housetop.
9 Tota die exprobrábant mihi
inimíci mei: * et qui laudábant me, advérsum me jurábant.
9 All the day long my enemies
reproached me: and they that praised me did swear against me.
10 Quia cínerem tamquam panem
manducábam, * et potum meum cum fletu miscébam.
10 For I ate ashes like bread,
and mingled my drink with weeping.
11 A fácie iræ et
indignatiónis tuæ: * quia élevans allisísti me.
11 Because of your anger and indignation: for having lifted
me up you have thrown me down.
12 Dies mei sicut umbra
declinavérunt: * et ego sicut fœnum árui.
12 My days have declined like
a shadow, and I am withered like grass.
13 Tu autem, Dómine, in
ætérnum pérmanes: * et memoriále tuum in generatiónem et generatiónem.
13 But you, O Lord, endure for ever: and your
memorial to all generations.
14 Tu exsúrgens miseréberis
Sion: * quia tempus miseréndi ejus, quia venit tempus.
14 You shall arise and have mercy on Sion: for it is time to have
mercy on it, for the time has come.
15 Quóniam placuérunt servis
tuis lápides ejus: * et terræ ejus miserebúntur.
15 For the stones thereof have pleased your servants: and they
shall have pity on the earth thereof.
16 Et timébunt gentes nomen
tuum, Dómine: * et omnes reges terræ glóriam tuam.
16 All the Gentiles shall fear your name, O Lord, and all the kings of the earth
your glory.
17 Quia ædificávit Dóminus
Sion: * et vidébitur in glória sua.
17 For the Lord has built up Sion: and he shall be
seen in his glory.
18 Respéxit in oratiónem
humílium: * et non sprevit precem eórum.
18 He has had regard to the prayer of the humble: and he has not despised their petition.
19 Scribántur hæc in
19 Let these things be written unto another generation: and the people that
shall be created shall praise the Lord:
20 Quia prospéxit de excélso
sancto suo: * Dóminus de cælo in terram aspéxit:
20 Because he has looked forth
from his high sanctuary: from heaven the Lord has looked upon the earth.
21 Ut audíret gémitus
compeditórum: * ut sólveret fílios interemptórum.
21 That he might hear the
groans of them that are in fetters: that he might release the children of the
slain:
22 Ut annúntient in Sion nomen
Dómini: * et laudem ejus in Jerúsalem.
22 That they may declare the name of the Lord in Sion: and his praise in Jerusalem;
23 In conveniéndo pópulos in
unum: * et reges ut sérviant Dómino.
23 when the people assemble
together, and kings, to serve the Lord.
24 Respóndit ei in via
virtútis suæ: * Paucitátem diérum meórum núntia mihi.
24 He answered him in the way
of his strength: Declare unto me the fewness of my days.
25 Ne révoces me in dimídio
diérum meórum: * in generatiónem et generatiónem anni tui.
25 Call me not away in the
midst of my days: your years are unto generation and generation.
26 Inítio tu, Dómine, terram
fundásti: * et ópera mánuum tuárum sunt cæli.
26 In the beginning, O Lord,
you founded the earth: and the heavens are the works of your hands.
27 Ipsi peribunt, tu autem
pérmanes: * et omnes sicut vestiméntum veteráscent.
27 They shall perish but you remain: and all of them shall grow
old like a garment:
28 Et sicut opertórium mutábis eos,
et mutabúntur: * tu autem idem ipse es, et anni tui non defícient.
And
as a vesture you shall change them, and they shall be changed. 28 But
you are always the selfsame, and your years shall not fail.
29 Fílii servórum tuórum
habitábunt: * et semen eórum in sæculum dirigétur.
29 The children of your servants shall continue and their seed
shall be directed for ever.
6. Psalm 129: De
Profundis
De profúndis clamávi ad te, Dómine: * Dómine,
exáudi vocem meam :
Out of the depths I have cried to you, O Lord:
2 Fiant aures tuæ intendéntes: * in vocem deprecatiónis meæ.
2 Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice
of my supplication.
3 Si
iniquitátes observáveris, Dómine: * Dómine, quis sustinébit?
3 If you, O Lord,
will mark iniquities: Lord, who shall stand it.
4 For with you there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of
your law, I have waited for you, O Lord.
5
Sustinuit ánima mea in verbo ejus: * sperávit ánima mea in Dómino.
My soul has relied on his word: 5 My soul has hoped in the Lord.
6 A custódia matutína usque ad noctem: * speret Israël
in Dómino.
6 From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.
7 Quia
apud Dóminum misericórdia: * et copiósa apud eum redémptio.
7 Because with the Lord there is mercy: and with him
plentiful redemption.
8 Et
ipse rédimet Israël: * ex ómnibus iniquitátibus ejus.
8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities
7.
Psalm 142: Domine, exaudi orationem meam
1 Dómine, exáudi oratiónem meam: áuribus
pércipe obsecratiónem meam in veritáte tua : * exáudi me in tua justítia.
Hear, O Lord, my prayer: give ear to my
supplication in your truth: hear me in your justice.
And enter not into judgment with your
servant: for in your sight no man living shall be justified.
3 Quia persecútus est inimícus
ánimam meam: * humiliávit in terra vitam meam.
For the enemy has persecuted my soul: he
has brought down my life to the earth.
4 Collocávit me in obscúris sicut
mórtuos sæculi : * et anxiátus est super me spíritus meus, in me turbátum est
cor meum.
He has made me to dwell in darkness as
those that have been dead of old: And my spirit is in anguish within me: my
heart within me is troubled.
5 Memor fui diérum antiquórum,
meditátus sum in ómnibus opéribus tuis: * in factis mánuum tuárum meditábar.
I remembered the days of old, I meditated
on all your works: I meditated upon the works of your hands.
6 Expándi manus meas ad te: *
ánima mea sicut terra sine aqua tibi.
I stretched forth my hands to you: my
soul is as earth without water unto you.
7 Velóciter exáudi me, Dómine:
* defécit spíritus meus.
Hear me speedily, O Lord: my spirit has
fainted away.
8 Non avértas fáciem tuam a me: *
et símilis ero descendéntibus in lacum.
Turn not away your face from me, lest I
be like unto them that go down into the pit.
9 Audítam fac mihi mane
misericórdiam tuam: * quia in te sperávi.
Cause me to hear your mercy in the
morning; for in you have I hoped.
10 Notam fac mihi viam, in qua
ámbulem: * quia ad te levávi ánimam meam.
Make the way known to me, wherein I
should walk: for I have lifted up my soul to you.
11 Eripe me de inimícis meis,
Dómine, ad te confúgi: * doce me fácere voluntátem tuam, quia Deus meus es
tu.
Deliver me from my enemies, O Lord, to
you have I fled: Teach me to do your will, for you are my God.
12 Spíritus tuus bonus dedúcet me
in terram rectam: * propter nomen tuum, Dómine, vivificábis me, in æquitáte
tua.
Your good spirit shall lead me into the
right land: For your name's sake, O Lord, you will quicken me in your
justice.
13 Edúces de tribulatióne ánimam
meam: * et in misericórdia tua dispérdes inimícos meos.
You will bring my soul out of trouble:
And in your mercy you will destroy my enemies.
14 Et perdes omnes, qui tríbulant
ánimam meam, * quóniam ego servus tuus sum.
And you will cut off all them that
afflict my soul: for I am your servant.
